  • How do I know that the Tibi/o is working?
Refer to the test motions within the Instructions page. If you see an instantaneous difference in the before and after, there is a very high likelihood that it will be helpful and you have put it on correctly.
  • How long does the Tibi/o last?
Like anything used for activity, longevity depends on how often you use the product. Even if the sleeve material wears down from the velcro, you should still be able to benefit from the Tibi/o as long as the locking mechanism straps are intact. The sleeve is simply a medium for the straps.
  • Why does it start to pill?
The sleeve is simply a medium for the locking mechanism straps. It was also designed so that you are able to put the locking tabs anywhere on the sleeve, allowing for a custom fit without trying to over-stretch or under-stretch to attach the locking tabs. Even if the sleeve material degrades, you should still be able to benefit from the Tibi/o as long as the straps are in-tact.
  • How long can I wear the sleeve?
You can wear it as long as it does not create discomfort and/or increase swelling in the joints. Do not wear the sleeve when sitting or laying down for long periods of time. We suggest that you wear it only during active motion.
  • What do I do if I notice swelling?
The locking mechanism straps may be too tight. Take the Tibi/o off and allow the swelling to reduce before using it again. Remember to only use about 50-75% tension and reduce tension even more when sitting for a long period of time.
  • How do I know which side to use the Tibi/o on?
There are several ways to find out. Here are a couple: 1. Try a seated leg raise for each leg. The leg that is harder to raise will be the leg that you want to wear Tibi/o on. 2. Use the Tibi/o on the side that you usually begin to experience pain in during active motion.
  • Can I use one sleeve for both of my legs?
The sleeves are designed to be only for one side: left or right. Use in the other direction is not advised. Always have the locking mechanism going from outside to inside.
  • Should I buy one for each leg?
The issue is usually more on one side, resulting in limitations on the other side. However, some people like the feeling on both sides! There is nothing wrong with using the Tibi/o on each leg. However, most individuals only need a Tibi/o on one leg.
  • Can I wash the Tibi/o?
Yes! Refer to the "Wash & Care" section within the Instructions page.
